ACM BCT Fires: Cannon TADSS Integration Specialist

Personnel Shall:

Have at a minimum 15 years of experience within the DoD.  This experience must include, at a minimum, ten (10) years of experience with the development, use and or employment of Training Aides, Devices, Simulators and Simulations.  Specific assignment/work history in support of the development of training aides, devices, simulators and simulations preferred.

Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a field artillery military occupational specialty and minimum three (3) years senior level experience in Army or USMC Field Artillery cannon units (E-7 or above).  Military Instructor experience is preferred.

Possess an associate’s degree in any discipline.  Specialized degree in education is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.

Have one (1) year of experience working with Combat Development and Materiel Development or the Acquisition Process IAW DoD Directive 5000.02 including the DOTMLPF- integration process.  Experience in the DOTMLPF integration of Training Aides, Devices, Simulators and Simulations is preferred.

Demonstrate oral and written communication and briefing experience or instructor with two (2) years of experience in order to articulate TADSS concepts and future requirements to vested cannon artillery stakeholders. 

Have two (2) years of experience in briefing senior audiences, effectively communicating conceptual ideas in writing, and orally articulating thoughts to support the development of TADSS concepts, doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) IAW Army Regulation (AR) 25-50, “Preparing and Managing Correspondence” (17 May 2013) and Field Manual (FM) 6-0, C2, “Commander and Staff Organization and Operations” (22 April 2016). 

Possess a SECRET security clearance or have the ability to obtain an interim SECRET security clearance at time of performance under the task order.
