APO MDTF: FA Specialist / Targeting System

Personnel:

Shall possess a master’s degree with ten (10) years of specialized experience or bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of current and relevant specialized experience.  Specialized experience is defined as working in the Field Artillery (FA) and Tactical Targeting community with recent experience as Targeting Officer (Corps and above) or certified “JOFEC” targeting instructor experience. 

Shall have at least ten (10) years of cumulative operational experience in FA and have Army acquisition experience or training.  Must possess recent and relevant experience with imagery-based targeting process (ie. PSS-SOF, Scene Matching, Raindrop, Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE), etc), TMO certified and possess experience in the targeting process. 

Shall possess the ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas in writing and orally articulate thoughts to support the development of Army and MDTF concepts, doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). 

Shall demonstrate recent and thorough knowledge of AFATDS and JADOCS, Fire Support Data Systems and Fire Support Data System capability and organizations (knowledge reflects ten (10) years of cumulative FA experience) specified in each task.

Shall possess a SECRET security clearance or can obtain an interim SECRET clearance at time of performance under the task order.
