Enthusiastic Boarding Technician needed at Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital, located on the northwest side of San Antonio, TX. A qualified candidate must love working with animals and their owners, providing exceptional service is a must. The position available will be full time, 35-40 hours per week. You will be joining an awesome team of hardworking and fun-loving people.
You must be dependable, have reliable transportation, be trustworthy, have great work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, self-starter, and be a good team player.
The boarding position includes physical labor: walking and standing the majority of the day as well as lifting up to 50lbs on your own. General care including cleaning kennels, feeding, bathing, and medicating animals. Attention to detail when it comes to cleaning is a must! We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facility and the outstanding compassionate care our staff provides the pets. We treat each pet as if it were our own.
Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Saturdays from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. Shifts will also include hours outside business hours including weekends and holidays. You must be able to share work shifts on holidays and weekends as these are our busiest times. Experience preferred but willing to train the right person.
