Contracts Administrator, NSP – Vancouver, BC

This opportunity is located in Vancouver, BC for the New St. Paul Hospital Project.

As Contracts Administrator, NSP you:

  • Administer and issue subcontract documentation and follow up with subcontractors daily.
  • Review SI's, RFI's and drawing packages, receive and issue information to subcontractors or on behalf of subcontractors.
  • Perform change management on subcontractor contracts.
  • Validate site progress daily and resolve construction roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure subcontractor performance meets standards.
  • Address or mandate changes as required by the contract.
  • Review and validate monthly invoices for payment.
  • Maintain constant communication with subcontractors and the construction team.
  • Manage subcontractor risk and maintain up-to-date subcontract budget forecasts.
  • Process contract revisions in SAP, ensuring accuracy in cost codes and billing.
  • Finalize and issue contracts.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience on live construction sites with a foundational understanding of construction methods, KPIs, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, site instructions, RFIs, change management processes, Gantt charts, and schedules.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a basic grasp of contract and contract management principles.
  • Good health for performing daily site walks and progress reviews; knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
  • Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player and manage tough conversations when needed.
  • Salary: $50,000+
