Project Manager with Luxury Home Construction Expertise

 

Summary:

Our client, who is based in Chicago, IL, with residences in the Greater Phoenix area, other U.S. locations, and the Bahamas, has established a new role to assume 360-degree oversight for construction projects in their residential portfolio. This position encompasses full responsibility for all construction projects, renovations, redecorating, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance. Ideal candidates have studied architecture, design, and have significant experience working in and around the construction of fine homes.

 

The client is flexible regarding the work arrangement, offering the option for this role to be remote or based in Scottsdale or Chicago, which is their home base.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all construction and renovation projects in the principal's residential portfolio.
  • Travel to and inspect work and homes to ensure the work is completed in an A+ manner.
  • Establish systems/standards to ensure residences are maintained in pristine condition.
  • Provide an annual list of proposed capital expenditures by property to the principal's accountant.

 

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience managing day-to-day construction details and decisions for luxury residential properties.
  • Knowledge of best industry practices and general compliance/permit requirements throughout the US.
  • A bachelor's degree or a strong background in the trades is preferred.
  • Impeccable professional history with excellent verifiable references.
  • Solid executive skill set. Mature, positive, proactive, and persistent.
  • Superior process, project, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to properties is required and all expenses are paid.

 

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday, business hours, flexibility is required.

 

Compensation:

Our client is prepared to pay $175,000-$225,000 base annual salary plus benefits.
