The Institutional Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the operational and new business support functions of the Institutional Division, including coordinating, assisting and supporting the management of existing Institutional clients and development of new clients, which may include credit union partnerships. What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for 401K plans.
  • Manage routine checklists with clients.
  • Keep up to date on 401K relevant policies and procedures.
  • Perform activities that create and maintain compliance with ERISA and other regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participant service requests, such as distributions, account changes and investment related inquiries.
  • Answer and respond to participant phone calls promptly, while addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism.
  • Track participant requests and resolution.
  • Prepare requested sales presentations and proposals and partnership implementation presentations, agenda, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with FCT departments to compile information for reviews, proposals and presentations for new and existing accounts and management reports.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in 401(k) administration, financial planning and/or wealth management preferred.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and operational functions associated with a professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including oral and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and conceptual and cognitive skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team.
