The ECMD Pro Sales Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for selling to and servicing ECMD customers. This includes proactive outbound selling activities and fulfilling TM and customer requests. The ISR works across all ECMD operations to place customer orders, fulfil service requests, assists TMs in sales support activities, and provides stellar customer support in all customer interactions. The ISR is expected to develop and foster productive working relationships with all ECMD/Klumb associates which promote positive customer outcomes. As a key member of the Pro Sales team, the ISR is expected to assist TMs to grow sales, establish productive customer relationships, and work collaboratively with all ECMD associates while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Initiates a predetermined number of outbound sales calls per day with the intent of promoting ECMD products to new and existing customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
  • Prioritizes activities to achieve pre-assigned goals.
  • Accurately communicates customer requests/orders to the appropriate people and channels.
  • Accurately track and record all sales activities and results.
  • Proactively engages in sales conversations with customers.
  • Probes to uncover customer needs and offers appropriate product recommendations.
  • Accurately processes customer orders.
  • Provide seamless, loyalty building customer service during all customer interactions.
  • Maintains regular communication with TMs and other ECMD associates to provide sales updates, customer requests, and service needs.
  • Provides timely follow-up to customer requests. Acts with a sense of urgency to complete all tasks.
  • Stays current on issues affecting our business, industry, and the global supply chain.
  • Ability to provide product knowledge across a broad range of product categories and applications.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a metrics driven role where sales call activities and results are tracked on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work 100% of the time from the ECMD corporate office.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft suite of business software.
  • Utilizes company provided 3rd party software as needed.
  • Ability to travel by car and air for business, possible over-night travel required.

Experience:

  • Some outbound/face-to-face selling experience desired.
  • Experience managing multiple customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced team environment where results matter.
