Right of Way Agent

Mi-Tech offers a broad range of professional, engineering and technical services to the telecommunications and power delivery markets. We have a current opening for a Right of Way Agent. At Mi-Tech, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution Services, Utility Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fair market value appraisal review and understanding
  • Easement document preparation using basic legal description of property
  • Facilitate negotiations to acquire easements within customer parameters
  • Settle damages for properties
  • Courthouse research for existing easements, deeds, and survey information

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of right-of-way experience working in all aspects of the field preferred. 
  • Negotiation, courthouse research, and real estate principle knowledge required.
  • Ability to follow basic legal property and easement descriptions
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
  • Flexible work hours will be required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a public notary.
