Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant – The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing patient treatment through exercise, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. 

 Primary duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, materials and performing procedures.
  • Obtains data related to the treatments given to the patient.
  • Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary. 

Qualifications Summary

Required PTA license must be provided. Two or more years of experience is preferred, but willing to train new graduates. Proficient with computer applications, excellent oral and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, organized, ability to multitask, knowledgeable of physical therapy practices.
