Body Shop Technician

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Body Shop Technician will be assisting the Paint Technicians in preparing surfaces of aircraft for painting. This is a great job for you if you have some basic skills; auto body work, restoration work or automotive paint experience and are looking for a career you can grow with.  Other expectations may include:

  • Surface prep and bodywork parts to be primed
  • Blocking primed parts
  • Wet lay-up
  • Masking parts that are ready to paint
  • Completing all necessary paperwork
  • Cleaning and maintenance of body shop and staging area
  • Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 

  • Bodywork and/or automotive painting or prep experience is helpful
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work as part of a team with a great attitude
  • High standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work quality
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed to support the work
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
