Professional Development Coordinator

UB Greensfelder currently has an opening for a full-time Professional Development Coordinator to work in the St. Louis office supporting the Professional Development Department. We are looking for a professional that understands the importance of quality service, contributes in a team environment and who is willing to continually learn and grow with our Firm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assistance with the development and execution of a variety of training programs, including associate and practice group specific programs, attorney mentor program, compliance training and firm-wide CLEs, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Coordinating day-to-day administrative and transactional responsibilities of the Professional Development department.
  • Coordinating all program logistics, including scheduling, drafting invites, maintaining invite lists and rosters, tracking RSVPs and attendance, managing correspondence, drafting post-training surveys and maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Maintaining CLE database and MCLE Board relationships and renewals, firm-wide training calendar, surveys/evaluations, attendee lists, and presenter information for internal, locally-driven and national programs.
  • Working closely with members of the firm’s Human Resources, Information Technology and DEIB teams to coordinate logistics relating to live, hybrid and virtual trainings.
  • Assisting with special projects and initiatives for the Professional Development team, including but not limited to:
    • Developing processes and procedures for the use of Learning Management Software for programming put on by the Professional Development Department  and for purposes of tracking/reporting CLEs.
    • Developing processes and procedures for obtaining CLE certification for firm-hosted programs from applicable states.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm.
  • Associate’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe are required, as is Outlook in order to manage a variety of reoccurring meetings, appointments and events.
  • Ability to be resourceful and efficient in handling high volume priorities.
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a proactive customer service focus.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
