Assistant Property Manager For a Private Family in Miami

Our clients are an executive couple with grown children who are seeking a hands-on Assistant Property Manager for their two Miami residences to ensure they are impeccably run and beautifully maintained. This role reports to a Regional Director.

 

The right candidate can work alongside and manage a small team to ensure the principals’ high standards are met. This is not an office-based role.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Daily walkthrough of the properties and residences.
  • Ensure the 24/7/365 security of the properties.
  • Perform preventative and general maintenance and cleaning duties.
    • Wash windows, pressure wash hard surfaces, vacuum and skim pools/spas, wash and detail vehicles, change A/C filters, clean drains, add algae tabs, replace lightbulbs and batteries, etc.
    • Wipe down outdoor furniture and remove and replace covers daily.
  • Regularly inspect all systems and ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and manage repairs, building maintenance, and landscaping work performed by staff, vendors, and contractors.
  • Keep vehicles fully serviced and properly stored.
  • Regularly assist with driving and errands.
  • Ensure the residences are ready for family and guest visits; oversee arrivals and departures.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure financial objectives are met and the best operating procedures are followed.
  • Work with the other team members on special projects and administrative duties.

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience caring for and maintaining fine homes, yachts, or luxury hospitality properties. A broad knowledge of operations systems, and a proven track record of successful property and vendor management are important. A professional demeanor, a strong hands-on work ethic, and the willingness to learn are key. Strong oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail are important.

 

Schedule: Generally, a 40–50-hour work week, this role will include some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required. Hours vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events.

 

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 with excellent benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
