Chiller Technician

Position: Chiller Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned chiller maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in industrial and commercial settings (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, educational buildings)
  • Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot various types of chillers
  • Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools
  • Oversee customer service needs, including quoting and estimating jobs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including chillers, split systems, rooftop units, cooling towers, and pumps
  • Complete electronic documentation daily
  • Operate company vehicle for service calls within a specified territory
  • Assist with training and oversight of a small team of technicians
  • Participate in specialized safety and equipment training programs

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial chiller systems
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
  • Comprehensive understanding of HVAC equipment/systems service and repair, including complaint resolution, sales, and quoting
  • EPA universal certification
  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
