CDL Driver

The Delivery Driver (CDL A) is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. In addition, it may be required to assist in the warehouse with production and moving materials and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
  • Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
  • Performs daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
  • Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges.
  • Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery.
  • Move, pick up, and drop off trailers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
  • Three years of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer, required.
