Logistics Coordinator - 3rd Shift - Byron Center, MI

Martin Transportation Systems, Inc., a single source provider of transportation and logistics services, is seeking qualified Logistics Coordinators in our Customer Service Department. We are looking for the right individuals who will excel in this position in preparation for advancement into dispatching or fleet management.

Responsibilities:

• Updating customer websites
• Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously to problem solve route issues
• Interfacing and updating computer tracking systems
• Communicating with customers via phone, fax, and email
• Communicate with drivers via satellite/phone regarding load status
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:?

• Previous transportation or logistics experience a plus
• Excellent work ethic and communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong web navigation and computer skills
• Previous experience with transportation software is preferred
