WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of the Sales & Marketing Department, the Southern Sales Manager will spearhead lead generation, prospect qualification, and development. They will focus on near-term lead development and the closing of sales to meet or exceed quotas. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Associate to develop their sales funnel to meet long-term sales goals. Must have a strong work ethic and be highly motivated to provide an exceptional experience for owners and prospective customers.

Other Essential duties include:

  • Conduct market research to build a solid pipeline of potential clients
  • Connect with potential clients via phone, email, and networking events
  • Meet targets, KPI’s, and sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Follow up on leads provided by inside sales and marketing
  • Act as a brand ambassador; assisting marketing, flight operations, and customer support to foster a positive customer experience
  • Perform demonstration flights
  • Prepare and present proposals to prospective buyers
  • Participate in airshow sales support, events, and tradeshows
  • Travel to meet clients as needed
  • Special projects and assignments as requested

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated aviation sales experience
  • Relationships with aircraft owners worldwide including high-net-worth individuals and corporations
  • Exceptional sales, presentation, and negotiation skills 
  • A current and active FAA commercial instrument (or ATP) pilot license is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Confidentiality and Discretion
  • A Current Valid U.S. Passport is Required
  • Must be able to obtain a 1st class medical
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

DESIRABLE

  • Certificated flight instructor (CFI/CFII)
  • Experience in turboprop or turbofan aircraft
  • Previous corporate flight experience
  • 1500 Hours TT
  • 250 Hours in Turboprop or Turbofan
  • Must be able to obtain a 1st class medical
