DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR

Department: Marketing | Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager | Exempt |

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primary responsibilities include managing social media, reputation management, business listing management, and email marketing across multiple hospital brands, as well as assisting with other digital marketing channels assigned by the Digital Marketing Manager.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

Social Media – Responsible for implementing hospital social media plans, campaign designs, post deployments for company national campaigns, and one-off requests set by the Digital Marketing Manager and Operations Teams. Manage social media calendar to maintain regular postings for company national campaigns. Develop creative and execute company national social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram) that build meaningful connections with pet owners/clients and deliver results for our hospitals, including attracting new pet owners and driving appointment visits. Actively optimize hospital social media channels and devise A/B testing methods for new social campaigns to improve performance results across paid and organic posts. Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and platform changes that impact our hospitals. Work closely with the analytics team to monitor and analyze social media performance data, metrics, and insights.

Support our hospital Social Media Liaison group, which is comprised of 80 team members, with training and education so that they can effectively employ local/in-clinic social media.

 

Reputation - Oversee and direct our hospital reputation management program, which includes developing and facilitating processes, managing and optimizing business listings, and reporting. Provide educational and training opportunities for reputation management to hospitals. Expand reputation acquisition program across hospital business listings and

 

implement reputation acquisition strategies to improve scores. Manage reputation vendor relationships and account licenses, including setting up new hospital user accounts and troubleshooting issues. This role does not include responding to all hospital reviews but rather providing guidance and support to hospitals for them to respond to standard reviews. However, direct assistance with flagging reviews and managing reviews that need to be escalated to upper management is part of the role.

 

Other Channels - Assistance with other hospital Digital Marketing Channels may include - SEO and Local SEO (review third party vendor intiatives for accuracy) , Email Marketing (developing and sending email campaigns via Vet2Pet, MailChimp, and Constant Contact avg. 5x a month), managing one-off Facebook Ad campaigns (design/develop/deploy avg. 5- 10x a month), and providing additional marketing support as directed by the Digital Marketing Manager.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/related field or equivalent experience and education.

 

Experience: 1–3 years of Digital Marketing or Social Media experience required.

 

Skills and Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects. Strong communication skills and ability to write social copy or reputation templates.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to problem-solve and be a self- starter. Must be comfortable working on a MAC or PC. Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva. Experience with social media planner tools (i.e., SOCi, SproutSocial, Yext, or similar). Knowledge of HTML and email marketing is a plus.

 

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000 per year
