Property Grounds Assistant

An executive couple with a large estate in North Salem, NY would like to hire a proactive and versatile Property Grounds Assistant to join their long-term household team. This professional will work under the direction of the Property Manager to handle a wide range of tasks on the property, related to light maintenance, seasonal cleaning, and projects.

 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who requires a minimal amount of supervision and who can work well independently. The Property Grounds Assistant should be comfortable working on a property that includes wildlife. Prior experience working for a private residence preferred.

 

Competitive compensation ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package, including fully paid family health, dental, and vision insurance. This is a full-time hourly position that qualifies for overtime. Generally, a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with flexibility to work additional hours. Must have a valid driver’s license. Note that a background and reference check is part of the interview process for this opportunity.
