Role Overview
We are seeking a Designer to join our growing marketing team and play a key role in visually communicating our brand. This role involves designing creative materials for RFP responses, service line collateral, internal and external presentations, newsletters and other collateral. You will also create assets for cochraninc.com, digital channels and support internal communications. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate Cochran's visual presence and storytelling.

In this role, you'll be a central creative figure, bringing Cochran's brand identity to life across all touchpoints. From concept development to final execution, you'll craft designs that engage customers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with Cochran's brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFP Design Support: Create compelling, visually engaging materials for RFP responses that clearly communicate our value and services.
  • Service Line & Presentation Development: Design and develop collateral to support marketing and service lines, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategies.
  • Newsletter Development: Create internal and external newsletters, supporting cohesive storytelling and brand messaging through engaging design.
  • Website & Digital Assets: Design assets for cochraninc.com, ensuring a user-friendly and visually consistent experience for visitors.
  • Internal Communications: Provide design support for internal comms efforts, including presentations, events, and company-wide updates.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with external creative partners to maintain brand consistency and expand creative horizons. Bring ideas to life and use design as a superpower to tell stories that move audiences into action. This will shine through strategy decks, and storyboards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project managersproject executives, and the broader marketing team to ensure designs align with project goals and timelines.
  • Organization: Develop and maintain visual marketing content that supports client and company needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, integrating new techniques to improve workflow and design output.
  • Brand Consistency: Uphold Cochran's brand identity across all design touchpoints, maintaining high visual communication standards.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing various work across RFPs, collateral design, presentation development, and digital content.
  • Design Systems: Experience developing and maintaining design systems that ensure consistency across multiple workstreams.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive brand strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in delivering high-quality designs that adhere to brand standards.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to articulate and execute an innovative vision for projects, from brainstorming to final production.
  • Digital Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and experience working with web platforms and marketing automation tools like Mailchimp and HubSpot.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining high level of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in design, preferably focusing on B2B marketing, corporate presentations, or internal communications.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proactive: Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
