Veterinarian: Dentist

The Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center in Springfield, Oregon, is excited to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Dentist to join our team! We are a busy, privately-owned practice part of Lakefield Veterinary Group, known for providing exceptional emergency and dentistry care in our community.

We have had a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, practice at EVH and is now retiring after working here for the last 10 years. This is a great opportunity for a boarded dentist or a board qualified dentist to continue the growth of veterinary dental care at WVH.  Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled, compassionate professional who excels in small animal dentistry and oral surgery. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently. A passion for client communication and building relationships with referring veterinarians is essential, as is an enthusiasm for mentoring and teaching, both within the clinic and to the wider veterinary community.

At the Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center, we take pride in offering gold-standard care with state-of-the-art technology, including 64 slice CT, and anesthetic protocols. Our facility features dedicated space for dental procedures, a modern surgical suite, and a well-established equipped ICU with many years of experience collaborating with dentistry. We work closely with Board-Certified specialists across multiple disciplines, and have an established relationship with a board-certified anesthesiologist, to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

Our clinic supports a positive work-life balance by offering a reasonable caseload and competitive employment packages, which include:

  • Competitive salary with performance bonuses
  • Relocation and sign-on bonuses available
  • Comprehensive health benefits (medical/dental/vision)
  • 401k with matching contributions
  • Continuing education stipend
  • Scrubs and equipment allowance
  • License and association fees
  • Monthly wellness benefits
