MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING REQUIRED
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Current certification by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or Pro-Board in the following: Firefighter 1 & 2 is required.
• A Missouri EMT license is required.
• Must be have a current CPR license.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
• At least one (1) year of experience is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
• Tattoos, Scarification, Body Art, and Body Modifications must meet City of Branson Employee Appearance at Work policy.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/40; must pass the Ishihara color vision test and/or be able to recognize the colors of traffic signals and devices showing red, green and amber; and must meet established hearing standards as outlined in NFPA 1582.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and post-offer medical evaluation.
