Job Summary
The Off-Lease and Wholesale Manager will be responsible for managing leasing opportunities of forklifts and industrial equipment, managing wholesale and trade-ins, sourcing equipment, and inventory management. This role will serve as a single point of contact for sales consultants, grow partnerships with outside dealers and collaborate with other departments to manage and control used inventories.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn and maintain an understanding of leasing opportunities, end of lease opportunities, early buyouts, off lease damage billing, and overtime (OT) billing
- Ground all off lease trucks, process invoices if needed, ensure receipt of off-lease evaluations within 48 hours so purchasing decisions can be made
- Monitors and manages off lease purchase percentage from Toyota Commercial Finance (TCF)
- Works with Regional Sales Manager to obtain off-lease evaluations from sales personnel 6 months prior to lease end and tracks new orders, extensions, customer intent
- Determines which trucks will be extended or are extended that ProLift can purchase and convert to internal lease invoicing
- Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner"
Educational/Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous sales experience, and 2-4 years of equipment management experience. The Off-Lease and Wholesale Manager should possess strong administrative, accounting, leadership, and verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational skills to manage a high level of current and future inventory.
