Revenue Manager
UB Greensfelder LLP has a full-time opening for a Revenue Manager, to work in the St. Louis, Cleveland or Chicago offices. This role will report to the Director of Finance or CFO and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after an initial onboarding period. Occasional travel will be required.

Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee Billing team in timely preparation and issuance of monthly pro formas and billing statements, and the Collections team in efforts to collect past due invoices.
- Investigate best practices in law firm billing and collections, suggesting changes to management for approval that could leverage technology and increase productivity of the billing process.
- Supervise and review e-billing process and systems including setup, monitoring and release of invoices. Serve as subject matter expert and project lead, coordinating with IT and attorneys in system design and updates.
- Supervise and review the usage of timekeeping, collections, and billing compliance software, including setup and system changes.
- Supervise the review of new client/matter intake for proper billing rates, billing guidelines, and data change requests.
- Supervise the annual update of standard and client specific rates in billing system.
- Supervise and manage the time and billing month-end close.
- Setup and train attorneys and support staff on paperless billing software modules and procedures and e-billing systems.
- Reply to attorney and client reporting and information requests, or delegate as necessary, including billing and collection system questions. Train and develop department staff as billing system backup resources.
Qualified Applicants Will Have:
- 10+ years’ of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment, including at least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Proven ability to independently manage a function independently, taking initiative for progress and change.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including entering and manipulating data in Excel.
- Aderant software experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to delegate, train, develop and evaluate staff, including goal setting, performance reviews and skills assessments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet urgent deadlines.
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
