Product Specialist - High Power Interconnects
Summary
The Product Specialist for Times Microwave Systems’ high power interconnect product family is knowledgeable in high energy applications and well versed in the subject matters of RF power, voltage, and electrothermal effects. He or she will be the primary technical resource for customers – providing interconnect product solutions and application support. He or she will also liaise with Engineering and Operations to ensure that customer requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Product Manager to provide technical support, secure design wins, and drive revenue growth.
- Interface with customers, identify their needs, and provide differentiated solution.
- Present technology concepts to customers and internal stakeholders in support of pre-sales activities and new product development.
- Support key customers by developing partnership with customer’s technical stakeholders and providing subject matter expertise.
- Create customer-facing and internal documents to ensure seamless translation of customer requirement to manufacturing instructions.
- Coordinate and provide support to product/technology transfer between sites.
- Support exhibitions, customer visits, and relevant industry events.
- Support quoting activities with product configurations and specification review.
- Support the creation and maintenance of marketing literature, including website, catalogs, media content, and technical papers.
- Participate in product road mapping, design reviews, and product release process.
- Funnel voice of customer (VoC) and voice of market (VoM) to Business Development, Product Managers, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations in support of continuous improvement and new product development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technology, applied science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a technical professional role with customer interaction.
- Experience with RF/microwave technology, voltage, current, and electrothermal effects.
- Experience with interconnect design, 3D modeling, and full-wave analysis.
- Experience with collaboration in a remote, international environment a plus.
- Ability to apply an analytical and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective presenter of information in a variety of settings.
- Responsive, flexible, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel as required.
