Production Cycle Counter
We are seeking a Production Cycle Counter to join our Warehouse Team! Hours are Monday - Friday, from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
JOB FUNCTION:
Cycle counting is the process where a person physically counts materials,ingredients and packaging materials accurately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs accurate cycle counts of dry ingredients; packaging materials, and for all W.I.P. (including all unfinished products).
- Reports cycle counts to the Production Planner or said person who is requesting the information.
- Performs audits of the Bills of Materials.
- Participates in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures & corrective actions.
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Adheres to the plant’s HACCP plans.
- Performs other duties as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively participates in Continuous Improvement projects and processes.
- Must communicate with others to ensure accurate cycle counts.
- Job tasks will be performed in a safe and professional manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum 5 years of production experience in high speed bakery/food operations preferred.
- Computer aptitude, including experience with MS Office and Excel required.
- Good math skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English required.
- JD Edwards or other ERP experience preferred.
- Possess excellent listening and comprehension skills required.
- Must be able to perform job duties at a pace that is consistent with pace set by Production Planner.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
