Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in related to implementing agricultural and natural resource management programs on agricultural lands (farms and ranches). A background of working directly with customers in conservation planning, agronomic conservation practices and agricultural management is necessary to complete the duties. OR MA/MS Degree in Agricultural-related and/or Natural Resource Management.

  • Valid State Driver?s license
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:

The incumbent will provide technical and programmatic training to state and Field Team staff in evaluating engineering practices, designing conservation practices, reviewing practice designs, performing construction checks, checkout of practices and assisting engineers and technicians in their implementation of Farm Bill programs across the state.

  • Main responsibilities will include reviewing and approving Engineering Job Approval Authority for EQIP projects, as well as providing support to four distinct Field Teams within NRCS-AZ.   100%

  • Travel Requirements: Work will mainly be within boundaries of Pinal and Phoenix areas.
  • Overnight travel: Up to three overnight trips per month.
