What You’ll Be Doing:
As our customer service representative, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do. You’ll handle a high volume of calls, manage appointments, check in clients, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s reassuring a stressed-out pet owner or providing accurate information to our veterinary team, you’ll need to juggle multiple tasks and keep everyone on track. You’ll need to be quick on your feet, especially in high-stress situations when the phone is ringing, and emotions are running high. Don’t worry though—we’re a team-oriented bunch, and we’ve got your back!
What We’re Looking For:
You should have at least 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital (bonus points for knowing your way around veterinary medical terminology). A strong communicator who can listen actively, empathize with pet owners, and clearly explain complex information—that’s what we’re after! You’ll need to be comfortable handling sensitive situations with care, while remaining calm, professional, and friendly. You’ll be juggling appointments, managing inquiries, and helping our veterinary team stay organized, all while keeping that warm, welcoming demeanor.
You should also be able to handle multiple tasks at once—after all, we’re a busy hospital, and our customer service representatives are the first line of defense in managing everything that comes through the door or over the phone. Your ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and think on your feet will be crucial. Plus, a basic understanding of veterinary care and procedures is a must, so you can provide clients with the best, most accurate information possible.
