Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on various parts of the business as well as performing a variety of accounting/pricing duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains Cost of Sales Module in ERP system (audit, maintenance, updates)
• Reviews and analyzes monthly cost of sales results
• Analyzes and publishes various financial reports for use by upper management
• Develops, maintains and publishes site by site metrics
• Develops, maintains and publishes departmental budgets
• Maintains standards costs as they relate to direct material and direct labor
• Meets with operations to discuss large variances from standard. Identifies reasons and remedies for variances
• Performs any other task as requested by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Accounting experience preferred
• Cost Accounting experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including expert level Excel skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP System
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Excellent problem solving skills
