These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, technical, and operational support to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP). Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions. Qualifications: Minimum of 30 year(s) of experience OR MA/MS Degree in Biology Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe Duties: Incumbent is responsible for reviewing and evaluating migratory bird programs and activities under the AD-MB purview in relation to proposed grant making, budget, regulations, technical program changes, or other issues for decision by the Assistant Director. Advises the AD-MB as to implications or potential impact, recommends modifications or courses of action as appropriate for communications, regulations, decision papers, or stakeholder relations. Provide advice on all aspects of the Division of Bird Habitat Conservation. 60% Provide advice on all aspects of the NAWCA Council and Council staff operations. 40% Other: Physical requirements: This is primarily a desk job.
