Position Overview:
We are seeking a mature, energetic, and highly organized Housekeeper to ensure that the home runs smoothly and remains in impeccable condition. The ideal candidate will be a mature, self-starter who takes initiative and is capable of managing multiple tasks with ease. You’ll work independently but will also collaborate with other team members and assist with various household projects and personal requests.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior Experience: Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a similar home with verifiable references is a must.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a keen eye for fine furnishings and materials such as artwork, crystal, china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens, etc.
- Organization: The ability to maintain schedules for deep cleaning and organize various areas of the home, including wardrobes, closets, and laundry.
- Professionalism & Discretion: A positive, pleasant demeanor and a professional appearance, with an understanding of confidentiality.
- Pet Care: Willingness to assist with pet care, including preparing a raw food diet for 3 cats and cleaning litter boxes.
- Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate with the family and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the entire home (3,500 sq ft), including daily and deep cleaning tasks.
- Care for and maintain all household items with proper techniques and supplies.
- Handle laundry, including ironing, steaming, and maintaining wardrobes.
- Oversee household inventory and ensure all supplies are stocked.
- Receive deliveries and handle vendor interactions.
- Assist with travel preparations and packing/unpacking as requested.
- Perform additional tasks and errands as needed to ensure the family’s needs are met.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $40 - $45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed. The principals would love to find a Housekeeper who can offer a half-day on Saturday or Sunday.
