Integration Developer III

Summary

The Integration Developer III serves as a senior technical expert on the Integration team, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing integration solutions to support ATS’s business operations. This role combines hands-on technical skills with team support duties, including training and mentoring less-experienced developers within the Integration team. The Integration Developer III will drive best practices and complex troubleshooting, bringing a high degree of expertise to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable integrations.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in integration development.
  3. Solid engineering experience with integration-focused development (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP, etc.).
  4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  5. Proficiency in automating deployments and platform operations.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, able to create robust, innovative integration solutions.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Self-motivated, team player, adaptable to diverse projects.
  10. Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
  12. Excellent communication skills (written, listening, and verbal).
  13. Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Technical Integrations: Develop and enhance complex integration solutions, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
  2. Mentorship and Training: Actively support and train other Integration team members, sharing best practices and guiding team members through complex technical challenges.
  3. Standards and Documentation: Define, document, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and integration standards for the team.
  4. Solution Development: Design and implement integration components that align with best practices, maintaining a focus on efficiency, maintainability, and security.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Create test plans and scenarios to ensure robust solution delivery and to validate integration scalability and resilience.
  6. Platform Maintenance: Perform administrative tasks on integration technologies, including solution implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  7. Lifecycle Involvement: Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, estimation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  8. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about current integration technologies and practices, and assess new tools or methods that could benefit the Integration team.
  9. Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve high-level issues related to integration performance, security, and deployment.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other technical teams and stakeholders to deliver cohesive, cross-functional solutions.
  11. Understands and consistently performs in accordance with ATS Mission, Vision, and Values.

  13. Complete work responsibilities outside of normal business hours as needed and infrequent travel may be required. 
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Demands:

This position is primarily based in an office setting. The role involves frequent use of computer equipment and occasional standing or movement. Regular communication with internal and external contacts is required.
