Quality Assurance Specialist – IT QA & QC Services
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong background in IT Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) services. This role requires expertise in test design, automated testing, defect management, and performance testing to ensure high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing software reliability, functionality, and user experience across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Design & Planning
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify test scenarios, test data, and acceptance criteria for various testing phases.
Testing Execution & Automation
- Perform black-box and grey-box testing to validate functionality and system behavior.
- Conduct automated regression testing to ensure seamless software updates.
- Execute performance testing to assess system stability under different conditions.
- Perform mobile and tablet testing to validate cross-device functionality.
Defect Management & Tracking
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard defect management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently.
Test Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed test reports, logs, and dashboards to track testing progress and results.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and project requirements.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Knowledge Transfer
- Support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer on testing processes and tools to team members.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance & Testing.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, Appium, etc.).
Experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, etc.).
Hands-on experience with mobile and tablet application testing.
Familiarity with performance testing and load testing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA credentials.
? Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
? Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
