How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Senior Process Engineer – Wire & Cable, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvements in manufacturing, tool design, quality and materials.

This position can work a hybrid schedule at our Richardson, TX facility or work virtually if not located close to the facility.

 

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Generate and lead engineering projects in technology, cost and quality improvement to completion in a timely manner.   Perform cost analysis and technical evaluation to support recommendations.
• Provide support in troubleshooting process issues and work with quality team on root cause analysis as they arise
• Provide training and mentoring other process engineers and technician located in our various manufacturing locations
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional team on cost savings initiatives, new product introduction, material development and second source projects
• Develop and ensure standardized procedure, documentation, tooling and process are maintained at our global manufacturing locations

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
• 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering with an emphasis on Wire & cable manufacturing
• Knowledge of extrusion and welding process and related equipment and tool design in wire and cable manufacturing process
• Experience in leading projects and working with internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendors
• Motivated, Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-saving and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodology

• Knowledge of Minitab, SolidWorks, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Projects
