ERISA/Employee Benefits Associate Attorney

UB Greensfelder currently has an opening for an Associate attorney to join the ERISA/Tax Practice group. This position can be located in any of the locations where our firm has office locations. Active law license in the state of practice will be required.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• 3+ years of experience in handling transactional ERISA, employee benefit and executive compensation matters in a law firm setting.
• Broad understanding of ERISA, tax, and related laws pertaining to employee benefit plans.
• Experience with ESOP transactions and advising existing ESOPs strongly preferred.
• Experience counseling clients on ERISA and tax implications of retirement plans, welfare plans, and non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements and employment agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
