NRCS ACES Program - General Apply

Opportunities with the NRCS ACES program

Keeping involved in retirement is a great way to stay connected.

ACES Program
For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS). These are experienced professionals who provide technical and professional assistance to the Department of Agriculture for the Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program. ACES enrollees are generally part-time and supply technical assistance to the NRCS in their conservation operations. Enrollees receive a modest hourly wage, and most are eligible for a benefits package that includes paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

The NEW Solutions ACES Program currently supports positions in over 40 states and is expected to grow in the years ahead. NRCS currently uses ACES in many ways: specific projects, workload surges, filling the need for technical assistance, succession planning, mentoring, workforce planning, etc.
