Executive Personal Assistant
Are you a highly skilled and discreet Executive Personal Assistant with a strong professional background and impeccable judgment? A lovely professional couple on the Upper West Side is seeking an exceptional EPA to support their personal lives. This is a wonderful opportunity for a NYC-based professional to take on a pivotal, long-term role.
We're looking for someone with an ownership mentality and a flexible, "can-do" approach, ready to seamlessly integrate into a busy household.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the right hand to busy a busy couple with demanding jobs; handle tasks on their behalf to free up time for them.
- Expertly coordinate complex schedules, appointments, and personal records.
- Manage all aspects of household operations, from services and repairs to deliveries, errands, and tech management.
- Plan and oversee events, ensuring every detail is well executed.
- Research and book domestic and international travel arrangements, providing detailed itineraries. This occasionally requires real-time support when there is a delayed or cancelled flight.
- Oversee mail, online orders, gifting, correspondence, and other essential administrative tasks.
- Maintain meticulous financial oversight and adherence to budgets.
- Work closely with corporate EAs and existing household staff (Nanny, Housekeeper) for optimal coordination.
- Cheerfully attend to the preferences of the principals.
Qualities
- 3-5+ years of dedicated EA/PA support to high-level executives, with a preference for Executive Assistant experience.
- Strong judgment & discretion: an innate ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters.
- Skill Set:
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive and clear communication (written and verbal in English).
- Highly tech-savvy across Microsoft, Google, Mac, PC, and Adobe suites.
- Strong internet research capabilities and excellent NYC area knowledge.
- Character: Mature, problem-solver, practical, budget-conscious, and possesses a relentless "can-do" attitude.
- A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Experience supporting professionals with young children is highly valued.
- Valid US driver's license and comfort with public transportation for errands.
Work Environment:
- Location: Mix of on-site (1-2 days/week) at the Upper West Side apartment and significant remote work (3-4 days/week).
- Primarily Monday-Friday business hours with flexibility both required and given.
- You will have 1–2 early morning or evening calls with the principals each week, support an average of 2–3 events per month, and be available for occasional weekend work.
- Occasional local travel within the Tri-State area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience.
- Annual discretionary bonus, paid medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement account, 20 days PTO (2 weeks family-discretionary and 2 weeks PA-discretionary), 12 paid holidays, 7 sick days, and more.
