How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
As a Supply Chain Accounting Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the accounting aspects of ANDREW's supply chain as part of the Finance Division. You will work closely with site operations, business unit finance, corporate accounting, and plant controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving supply chain optimization. This role is hybrid and can be based in Richardson or Euless, Texas.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial information for manufacturing and distribution centers in a timely manner
• Leading the monthly book close process for all manufacturing and distribution sites
• Maintaining and developing KPIs and tracking systems to measure progress and identify improvement areas
• Supporting and reviewing costs for US and MX sites including annual standards and current costs
• Partnering with BU Finance and Operations to develop annual operating budgets
• Overseeing inventory valuation, physical inventory, cycle counts, and financial accuracy
• Collaborating on trade compliance, tariffs, duties, and warehouse cost reporting
• Supporting business initiatives including obtaining a new maquiladora license
• Staying current on technical accounting updates and ensuring business compliance
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team including the Mexico plant controller and cost accountants
• Supporting internal, external, and statutory audits
• Leading special projects as needed
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in manufacturing accounting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical accounting skills
• Expertise in GAAP and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office/Excel
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, meet deadlines, and deliver results independently and cross-functionally
