Cyber Security Analyst II

Position Summary

The Information Security Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding DENSO TEN's digital assets by proactively detecting and mitigating threats, conducting compliance audits, and ensuring the overall security posture of the organization. This position leads cross-functional security initiatives, including monthly security committee meetings, and plays a key part in risk assessment, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Detect, contain, and mitigate threats to intellectual property and sensitive data.

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and coordinate remediation efforts.

  • Conduct comprehensive audits to assess compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance data protection and network security.

  • Coordinate and lead security committee meetings to address ongoing risks and strategies.

  • Track and escalate data protection activities, including coordination with corporate and parent companies.

  • Provide evidence of compliance to internal/external auditors and regulators.

  • Analyze trends to identify weaknesses in security alerting and testing platforms.

  • Support new security technology evaluations, implementations, and operations.

  • Stay informed on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.

  • May be directed by top management to lead/coordinate special security-related projects.


Education & Experience

  • Minimum Education: Associate of Science (AS) in Computer & Information Science or related field

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline

  • Experience: 2–4 years in:

    • Security audits and policy control assessments

    • Incident detection and response

    • Leading cross-departmental security committees

    • Security application setup and monitoring

    • Team collaboration on enterprise-wide security efforts


Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
