Evaluation Specialist

Job Summary: The Evaluation Specialist is responsible for ensuring all children referred for evaluation receive high quality, clinically appropriate evaluations in accordance with state and county regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review all evaluation reports to ensure compliance with state and county regulations as well as clinical appropriateness.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the evaluation process in the CPSE programs.
- Attend IEP meetings per week
- Assist evaluation teams by troubleshooting issues that may arise during the evaluation process.
- Conduct home and center based evaluations/observations when necessary (certification permitting).
- Conduct home and Center Based Services ( Certification Permitting)
- Establish and maintain a continuous supervision/training plan for all evaluators.
- Complete quality assurance audits to ensure all evaluation reports meet state and country regulations.
- Communicate frequently with various school districts, other referral sources and parents.
- Follow up on missing reports to ensure all evaluations are submitted in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Individual must hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist, or Special Education (Permanent or B-2) to ensure clinical competence.
- Successful experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook a must.
- Strong analytical skills
- Remain current with regard to policy and regulations
Physical Requirements of the Role:
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
- Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time exempt $65,000 - $70,000 Annual
Hours: In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
