About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate, humble, and honest Anesthesia Technician to join our growing surgical department. You'll work with a team that values autonomy, responsibility, and mutual support.

Typical Cases: Orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
Impact: Help expand surgical services to the community and elevate pain management hospital-wide

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized anesthetic protocols
  • Induce, monitor, and recover ASA I-IV patients
  • Perform local/regional blocks 
  • Provide pre-op and post-op care
  • Assist with lab work, imaging, and accurate medical records
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • 1+ years of specialty veterinary anesthesia experience
  • Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program
  • Oregon State Veterinary Technician License
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Background check required for controlled substance handling

Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Accurate drug dosage calculations
  • Advanced understanding of physiology and pharmacology
  • Radiographic technique, venipuncture, catheter placement
  • CPR and life support capabilities
  • Desire to grow and learn continuously
