Job Summary: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting awareness and understanding of the services provided by Achieve Beyond to both the general public and professionals. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships within the community, including pediatricians, daycare centers, shelters, preventive programs, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs, Early Learn programs, Head Start programs, and other organizations that support individuals who may benefit from Achieve Beyond's services. The Outreach Coordinator will actively represent the organization through educational presentations, community events, and direct engagement with referral sources to enhance visibility, drive referrals, and support the mission of Achieve Beyond

Please note that this is not a remote position 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for outreaching and targeting assigned areas
  • Complete weekly visits to community settings/referral sources
  • Establish relationships with referral sources local to our varying service locations
  • Conduct regular outreach phone calls and distribute informational materials to prospective partners and families
  • Represent organization through presentations, workshops, community meetings, and health fairs
  • Monitor site visits and track incoming referrals to assess outreach effectiveness
  • Utilize databases and applications for data entry, reporting, and tracking outreach metrics
  • Must be organized and able to multitask
  • Respond promptly to service inquiries received through the website, phone calls, and voicemails
  • Identify, organize and attend community events and networking opportunities
  • Meet weekly goals of outreach calls to referral sources
  • Explain programs that Achieve Beyond offers to families, community personnel, referral sources and etc.

Qualifications and other requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English a must
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to interact with a broad spectrum of people
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with public speaking, presentations, and community engagement
  • Available to work weekend/OT, when necessary

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Compensation: Full-time hourly non-exempt $21-$25 per hour

Hours: In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, OT & Weekend Events As Needed
