Composite Technician I
Job Summary:
Bonds various materials, including composites and laminate, together to create parts, prototypes, or products. Operates measuring tools, cutting tools, and various other equipment to bind, laminate, cut, vacuum-bag, cure, smooth, and perform other operations on composite material.
- Cut glass template for products following and reviewing instructions, documentation, engineering models and drawings.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up 35-50 pounds. Charles Industries weight rule: 35 lbs. and under can be lifted alone. 35 - 50 lbs. can be lifted by one person if they feel comfortable doing so. 50 lbs. or more requires the employee to get assistance or use a lifting device. (i.e. pallet jack, forklift, scissor table, buddy system).
