How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

 

As a Production Planner III, you will manage and optimize production schedules in alignment with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. You'll be a key liaison between departments, ensuring timely order fulfillment, minimal production delays, and effective coordination across the supply chain. This is an on-site role based in Euless, TX.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Developing and maintaining a production plan based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.

  • Confirming and scheduling sales orders based on customer request dates and production line capacity. Communicate updates or constraints across all relevant departments.

  • Coordinating with Purchasing to identify and expedite material shortages.

  • Reviewing and validating sales orders committed for the current day. If unmet, identify root causes and collaborate with Customer Service to reschedule as necessary.

  • Generating production plans for new sales orders, ensuring materials are available or working with purchasing to expedite missing components. Confirm delivery dates based on real-time capacity and supply status.

  • Releasing production orders only when materials and production capacity align with demand.

  • Monitoring exception messages and respond appropriately.

  • Communicating with Product Line Management (PLM), Operations Managers, and Customer Service on issues impacting order commitments.

  • Addressing expedites and escalations from Customer Service and other manufacturing sites.

  • Optimizing utilization of installed production capacity and report underloads or overcapacity issues to the business.

  • Supporting the achievement of key business metrics and planning goals.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production planning or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
