PawDoc Surgery + Dental Center is opening soon in Katy, TX, and we're looking for an LVT who is passionate about patient care in a specialty setting. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7am–5pm (3-day weekends every week!)
What You'll Do
As a key member of our surgical and dental team, you'll use your technical skills and expertise daily, including:
- Supporting veterinarians through all phases of surgery and dentistry, from patient prep to recovery.
- Performing advanced dental prophylaxis and assisting in oral radiography.
- Monitoring anesthesia with precision and confidence.
- Placing IV catheters, performing venipuncture, administering medications, and providing surgical nursing care.
- Ensuring accurate medical recordkeeping and communication with clients and referring veterinarians.
- Educating clients on post-operative care, anesthesia safety, and dental health.
- Promoting a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused hospital culture.
