ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN
This position is responsible for troubleshooting machine and motor control problems, designing electrical control panels, circuitry, wiring, etc., assemble and install Cat 5 cables. Install and program variable speed drives (VSD’s) and motors, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), and human machine interface (HMI’s). Assist with electrical components of RO system in water plant. Assist refrigeration technicians with refrigeration control systems. Perform electrical installation of new equipment. Repair/replace damaged electrical components. Assists mechanics troubleshoot problems with machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot machine and motor control problems
- Design electrical control panels, circuitry, wiring, etc.
- Assemble and install Cat 5 cables.
- Install and program variable speed drives (VSD’s) and motors,
- Install and program programmable logic controllers (PLC’s),
- Install and program human machine interface (HMI’s).
- Assist with electrical components of RO system in water plant.
- Assist refrigeration technicians with refrigeration control systems.
- Install and program Ethernet network for control of machines.
- Assist IT with installation, cabling, and troubleshooting of system.
- Maintain PLC’s documentation.
- Perform electrical installation of new equipment.
- Repair/replace damaged electrical components.
- Assists mechanics troubleshoot problems with machinery.
- Meets all “Good Manufacturing Practices” per Quality Control guidelines.
- Practices safety requirements established by OSHA guidelines and PRCP.
- Conforms to requirements of PRCP food safety programs.
