Engineering Co-Op
The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking Engineering Co-Op's to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The key responsibilities of the Engineering Co-Op include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares designs and specifications
- Assists in generation of layouts
- Interfaces with other departments for the manufacturing and testing of samples
- Makes drawings for production and customers
- Assists in the manufacturing of customer prototypes
- Reviews customer documents for compliance with AAO documents and if necessary, prepares new designs to conform to these documents
- Keeps supervision informed of status of all activities on a periodic basis
- Works closely with the BDM and Product Managers of various Business Units
Pay $18 - $19/hour

The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Engineering Co-Op at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- 2D and 3D CAD design experience; Solidworks, PTC Creo and Windchill preferred
- Have a hands-on attitude with a goal of actively identifying and solving problems
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Engineering
The Co-Op pays $18/hour, the hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and runs from January through August or June through December.
