Veterinary Assistant 1 YEAR Experience Required
Searching for your Fur-Ever hospital to call your own? Look no further than Indian Trail Animal Hospital. We are extremely fortunate to have such a beautiful facility in a very peaceful and caring part of the Spokane Community. This hospital was dreamt up and became reality by it's late and great leader and founder Dr. Ryan Brown. We started as a small group of compassionate individuals in the little strip mall across the street, consisting of two exam rooms and a surgery room! We have grown over the years, not only in staff but have also gone through changes planned and unplanned. We have adapted and survived through multiple challenges, tragedies, life events and even the treacherous COVID. We continue to provide quality care encompassed with compassion and excellent customer service throughout our team members and hospital. We would love to welcome a compassionate, loyal and fun veterinary assistant who wants to be part of a growing team of unique and dedicated individuals. Our Veterinarians are all easy to work with and understand assistants hold an important role in maneuvering through the busy work day. Let's be honest, they couldn't do it without them! Our assistants work with our Veterinarians and LVT's to assist with dental procedures, surgeries, ultrasounds, sedations, radiographs, blood draws, IV catheters, daily appointments, medical notes, discharges, client education and multiple other duties. We have a flexible schedule and understand the importance of a healthy and happy work/home life balance. Closed at 7pm Monday through Thursday, and Friday off at 6pm, no weekends, ever! Most team members work 4 days a week collecting 38-40 hrs/week. We work in a Fear Free environment and assist in ensuring all team members are certified. You won't believe the amount of cheese whiz, toys and lovely pheromones we have throughout our hospital. Less stress, more treats!
