GENERAL NATURE OF WORK: Under general to limited supervision, performs social services functions at an advanced level to consumers and their families. Responsibilities include completion of complex psychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/ monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to consumers requiring complex intervention, including those who are homicidal, suicidal or exhibit life-threatening behaviors; determines necessity for involuntary commitment; may execute orders of involuntary commitment; provides clinical training to professional social services staff; performs assessments for court depositions, legal proceedings and eligibility determinations. May supervise professional and/or Para-professional social services staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists AND two years of post-licensure experience providing therapeutic counseling; case management and coordination services; and assessments for court depositions, legal proceedings and/or eligibility determinations.

GENERAL NATURE OF WORK: Provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/individuals served and their families. Conducts patient/client/individual intakes, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Assist in dealing with personal and social problems. May provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services. May perform case management duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Entry qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years' experience in a social services related position OR a Bachelor's degree in a social services related field OR one year at the lower level.

Maintenance Technician
JOB SUMMARY
This is skilled manual work of more than ordinary difficulty. Work requires the performance of a wide variety of miscellaneous mechanical and building trade tasks in the maintenance or repair of buildings and equipment and simple construction tasks. Although the work frequently requires the use of journeymen's tools for operations in several of the recognized craft fields, the skill required in any one field is almost always less than would be required of a journeyman. Work is often performed without close supervision but is subject to inspection upon completion. Incumbent may develop his own assignments by inspection.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects buildings, fixtures, machines, and other structural and/or mechanical units, noting need for repair; performs minor maintenance.
Changes, washes, and cuts filters for air conditioners; repairs, hangs, installs restroom accessories.
Replaces locks, and door closures, repairs chairs, doors, water faucets, and cabinet doors.
Assists and participates in the repair and preventive maintenance of electric motors, switches, compressors, water lines, and related equipment.
Assists electricians in maintaining and repairing electrical wiring and apparatus.
Repair's ceiling and floor tile; patches wall coverings; paints walls as needed; pressure washes external walls.
Moves furniture and equipment; transports boxed files to storage; organizes and cleans storage facilities.
Does general landscaping as assigned to include trimming trees; tree removal; hauling away trash or debris.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY, AND SKILLS
Considerable knowledge of the methods, practice, tools, equipment, and materials used in a variety of building and mechanical tools.
Some knowledge of the occupational hazards in the use of power tools and equipment, and of necessary safety precautions.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to diagnosis malfunctions and defects in mechanical and similar equipment and to determine adequate corrective measures.
Typical Physical Demands
Prolonged standing and walking, repeated bending, squatting, stooping, climbing ladders, scaffolding of up to 100 feet. May be exposed to hazards from use of electrical, electronic, mechanical and power equipment, toxic chemicals and gases. May require lifting of up to 100 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate keyboards or repair delicate wiring components. Requires ability to work under high stress emergency situations or among patients with serious illness or communicable diseases. Requires absence of respiratory illnesses for working around toxic chemical solutions.
