Transportation Driver

POSITION SUMMARY: As a transportation driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing room revenue. Inside this role you will provide world class customer service by transporting guest to and from resort location safely and efficiently.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

  • Greet guests with promptness and courtesy, attending to their shuttle needs while providing exceptional customer service.    
  • Complete a pre-trip checklist daily to ensure the safety and functionality of the shuttle.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests.
  • Log into the shuttle app to efficiently manage shuttle operations.   
  • Assist guests with any needs including luggage when needed.
  • Always operate shuttle in a safe manner maintaining all traffic rules and regulations       
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required:    High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree:      N/A    
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid Driver's License Class D with a passenger endorsement issued by the state of Arkansas or Valid Driver's License Class E issued by the state of MO. Class A or B CDL With a Passenger Endorsement a plus.
  • Years of experience:        1-2     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to operate passenger carrying vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write pre/post trip reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

Additional Physical Requirements (Please list if applicable)

  • Ability to lift and load guest luggage 
  • lift, stand, bend, hold 50lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
