Qualifications:Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in construction inspection OR BA/BS Degree in Design and construction - Valid State Driver License and experience in vertical/building construction or rehabilitation.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:Construction project inspection for the rehabilitation of a historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) barracks and for the demolition of an existing visitor contact station and construction of a new contact station. - Inspects construction projects for adherence with contract documents and industry standards. Completes daily reports and photographs construction progress. 85%
- Review submittals, requests for information, and construction documents (drawings, specifications, and reports) for constructability and provide recommendations to Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR). 15%

- Health and Safety Considerations: Typical health and safety considerations associated with construction work sites are expected and lead-based paint has been identified in both buildings/work sites. Additional on-site training, if necessary, associated with the removal of lead-based paint will be provided contingent on the construction contractors? demolition plans.
- Required Safety Gear: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while inspecting the construction sites including eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat, gloves, and a safety vest. The Enrollee is responsible for providing their own appropriate clothing, outerwear, and footwear.
- Physical requirements: Ability to work at elevation (7,000+ ft) and navigate construction sites.
